We first met over 20 years ago during our college days at Tel Hai, discovering a mutual passion for biotechnology and the earth.
Together, we have walked a shared professional path for over two decades.
While Elad relocated to Kenya to build and scale massive agricultural operations, bringing Nitzan on board for large-scale turnkey projects across East Africa, a pivotal moment occurred a few years ago. A client in the Central African Republic asked Nitzan to certify a natural asset for carbon credits. This request sparked a profound realization of the massive opportunity hidden within the soil, launching a deep dive into the fascinating world of Regenerative Agriculture for Carbon Credits. Returning to Israel, Nitzan founded We-Agri, which today leads the Israeli market in agricultural carbon projects based on the rigorous VERRA standard and the VM0042 methodology.

Elad is a dynamic entrepreneur with a proven track record of building and scaling agribusiness operations across international markets. Born and educated in Israel with a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Tel Hai College, Elad began his career developing hands-on expertise across the full agricultural production cycle, later relocating to Kenya in 2011 to lead operations in international agribusinesses. His most impressive achievement is the founding of Plantech Kenya. Under his leadership as Managing Director and Entrepreneur, Plantech grew into the largest and leading nursery operation in East Africa, bringing a significant transformation to the region’s agricultural sector. Elad brings to CarboNature a relentless focus on scale, operational excellence, and the cultivation of long-term, strategic partnerships that drive the company’s global expansion.
